CHINESE GOVERNMENT DELEGATION TRAINED BY INTERACTIVE EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, INC. TO IMPROVE LABOR RELATIONS IN CHINA

Business Editors

JERICHO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2001--Interactive Employment Training, Inc. (IET) proudly announces that Robert D. Lipman, Esq., President of IET as well as IET's employment law experts David Robins, Esq. and Sima Ali, Esq. trained the Labor Disputes Arbitration Delegation from Beijing China, on Monday, July 30, 2001 at the Nassau County Legislature Building.

The Delegation composed of 19 officials met with IET's employment law team to discuss labor and employment law in the United States. "The purpose of our trip is to learn what is going on outside China with respect to labor relations. In America, you have practiced labor relations a long time so we can learn from your experience. Through this exchange of ideas, labor relations in Beijing can be improved. We thank Bob Lipman, David Robins and Sima Ali at IET for their presentation," said Guo Keli, Vice Director, Beijing Municipal Labor & Social Security Bureau and Chief of the Delegation.

Concepts such as selecting arbitrators, the role of mediation, preventive labor relations, the role of human resources professionals and employment at will were discussed. Furthermore, IET speakers highlighted the difference between collective and individual rights and demonstrated computer based training as a preventive tool to teach workplace respect. In addition to the discussion on labor relations, the Delegation was able to witness a legislative session regarding collective bargaining agreements in Nassau County.

"The Delegation indicated that it hopes to learn more about employment and labor law in the US by visiting IET's website, EEONews.com, and continuing the dialogue with us via email," said Lipman. "IET plans to use e-seminars to conduct further employment law training between New York and Beijing," said Ali, IET's Director of Business Development.
